Nearly 1 in 2 registered voters sat out the 2024 election.
The people who showed up chose your legislators.
Nellie is ON the ballot. No write-in this time — she's running as an independent for one of St. Croix's seven Senate seats. You have up to seven votes; just find Nereida "Nellie" Rivera-O'Reilly on your ballot and fill it in. Make one of your seven for Nellie. (See Nellie Is ON the Ballot for the full how-to.)
Voting is how you shape your island's future. By taking part, you help decide the issues that affect your family, your bills, and the next generation — and you make sure your priorities are represented in government.
Why your vote matters
In St. Croix, a few hundred votes decide who writes the laws.
USVI residents can't vote for U.S. President. The Legislature is the most powerful democratic act available to every Crucian. Your ballot is your loudest voice in government.
Why should I register to vote?
St. Croix deserves representation that fights for you — for better healthcare, stronger schools, and an economy that works for working families. But that only happens when every eligible voice is counted.
In 2024, nearly half of registered voters on St. Croix didn't cast a ballot. Senate seats were decided by hundreds of votes. Your registration — and your vote — is not a small thing.

Register once, and you're set for November.
